I’m still confused. It sounds like something isn’t being stated. Can I continue with the Topaz products that I have already purchased?

Hi Cal! Absolutely! You can continue to work as you always have with Topaz Labs products. Topaz Studio is a free standalone editing solution where you can run your plugins (just like in Photoshop or Lightroom) or edit with adjustments.

I downloaded and installed TS, having had and used various Topaz segments for years, including within FxLabs. I am somewhat confused. It strikes me that TS appears to be an augmented and reformatted FxLabs in what it seems to try to do. In fact, though it may only be my lack of familiarity with TS, but it does seem that I can do what I want with FxLabs more quickly than hunting through TS for the same things and, perhaps, not finding them. Further, it is clearly not a complete photo editing facility but, perhaps? finishing software?

Hi Michael! Topaz Studio is a complete editing solution. You can continue to use your Topaz Labs plugins with a host editor like Photoshop or Lightroom, or you can run your Topaz Plugins through Topaz Studio, the free photo editor.

I just installed Studio. I already had Topaz Texture Effects as a stand-alone application. Is there any way I can use my Texture Effects as a plugin within Studio?

          Joseph,
Yes, you can use it as a plugin, Studio works as a free host editor for all Topaz Plugins. If you have texture effects installed you should see it in the “Plugins” menu item in the top menubar.

When I use plug-ins in ts & press OK, nothing happens. The program does not return the image with the adjustment.
Image Layer: the program is not allowing me to bring in another image.
When I press Help/ Sync Adjustments, how do I know it has worked?

Not a all clear to me how to take advantage of the PRESALE offer. I’ve downloaded and installed Topaz Suite and appears to be working as it should. I watched the above video but it sheds NO light on how to get the special offer currently available for a VERY limited time. Had you simply placed a link to your web site where I could have placed my order it would have made taking advantage of this offer so much simpler. As it is now I still have no idea how to get the PRESALE offer.

I purchased and downloaded the Topaz Studio but I was under the impression that the presale price was $70. I was charged $137.50.

It seems that Topaz once again, since FXLab, is trying to move away from an Adobe based workflow and using a different sales tactic.
I have purchased the new adjustments to Studio because I think it is a fine addition to a creative software.

    Hi,
I am probably missing it somewhere but I cannot find if it is possible to bring a photo into Topaz Studios, add an effect from the left column of choices and then add others on top of it. When I choose another it dumps the first one I had and tweaked and gives me the effect I chose secondly. Can you stack effects on top of each other or is that impossible?
    Thanks,
    Rand

      May 31, 2017

Hi Randy! You can add an effect, make changes to the effect, and add additional adjustments to the effect. To stack effects you would have to apply an effect and then in the Image Browser (bottom row) select Apply from the Options Menu (three horizontal bars on top of the thumbnail). When you select Apply, a new image will appear in the Image Browser. This is your image and flattened effect. You can now add another effect! Hope this helps.
